Age UK Lancashire
Age UK Lancashire believes that it is important to enable older people and their carers to have support to remain independent and to live interesting and fulfilled lives.
We offer a range of services to help older people across Lancashire make more of their lives. Our care services are available to help frailer older people or those who feel lonely or isolated.
We aim to assist older people in remaining active, independent and linked into their local community.
Blackburn and Darwen Carers Service
Blackburn with Darwen Carers Service exists to provide a ‘one stop’ carers centre that offers support, information and advice to all unpaid carers within Blackburn with Darwen.
The local Community and Voluntary Service helped get the service off the ground and we became independent in 2004.
We’re really proud to have grown the service over the years.
We offer a wide range of support, all designed to give carers what they need to help them manage their caring roles.

Helpful and stress free. Simple process and any problems were dealt with. Good service, will be using to renew my commercial electricity supplier and procure further utilities.
